SALMON PROTEINS – plant at village Eiði

The company SALMON PROTEINS is using waste from the fish and salmon farming industry. ARTICON started in December 2002 to construct their new plant at Eiði. The project involved the plant itself and  a number of storage tanks in an enclosed area. Waste water pipes were placed into the sea and Articon also constructed an intake of sea water for cooling purposes in the plant. The project was completed in june 2003.
